SFX (special effects) - a rattle-bag of images which have been altered, tweaked, combined or otherwise manipulated to create something subtly or startlingly different.
A strong believer in the maxim 'just because there are fancy tools in your kit, you don't have to use them', I try not to do this too often! It can be fun though: 'Zebrarama was done in seconds with one tweak. Others take hours of work - which is not always rewarded with a stunning outcome.
